VoiceVault recently announced the launch of VoiceVault Fusion, the upgraded version of its core product.

VoiceVault Fusion now relies on two separate verification engines that operate symbiotically to identify an individual over the telephone, web, or on tablets and smartphones. The two engines can also work in “tandem and symbiotically” to increase accuracy.

Voice Vault’s chief operating officer Lee Cottle said, “We’re very excited in launching the Fusion product. Being able to offer such a wide variety of different ways of implementing our voice biometric technology means that we have a huge amount of flexibility in meeting business needs.”

The new software can verify an individual’s identity in several different ways. A user can say a specific set of phrases, read from a text, or just speak naturally and the system will be able to determine their identity.

The new version also makes it easier for businesses to install and integrate into their networks.

The recent edition of VoiceVault Fusion “reinforces our view that the technology is maturing and adoption of voice biometrics will be driven by flexibility in deployment options, as this is vital for the customer experience. We’re also very proud of the unrivalled levels of accuracy and performance that we continue to improve on with every release,” Cottle said.

VoiceVault is based in the United Kingdom and has offices in the United States in Boston and San Diego. The company specializes in voice-based biometric identification technology.
