Nanotechnology company Dais goes public

Odessa, Florida-based Dais Analytic Corporation (Pink Sheets: DLYT) had a successful public launch of its company stock last week. Other public companies working in the same space include Bothell, Washington-based Lumera (LMRA), Romeoville, Illinois-based Nanophase Technologies (NANX), and Campbellville, Ontario, Canada-based Altair Technologies (ALTI). Dais Analytic was founded in 1993 and specializes in nanotechnology polymer materials design. Its materials and processes are used, among other things, in protecting military and first responders from chemical and biological hazards while wearing comfortable clothing.
