E.J. Krause & Associates sells the Border Security Expo to newly formed Eagle Eye Expositions; the 2012 even showed a 24 percent increase in exhibit space and 21 percent increase in attendance

Tradeshow veteran Paul Mackler has launched Eagle Eye Expositions, LLC, a trade show management production company, where he will serve as president and CEO. The newly formed company acquired Border Security Expo from E.J. Krause & Associates, an event organizers over the last twenty-five years. E.J. Krause says that this year’s Border Security Expo showed a 24 percent increase in exhibit space with a waiting list of more than seventy companies unable to participate. Attendance was also up 21 percent with event participants from forty states and ten countries.

There were certain dynamics and growth characteristics that really attracted me to Border Security Expo,” says Mackler. “This is a large, growing, global, and sustainable multi-billion dollar marketplace. I look forward to working with U.S. Customs & Border Protection and the show’s distinguished advisory board, faculty and exhibitor base to build upon what E.J. Krause & Associates had developed.”

Ned Krause, president and CEO of E.J. Krause, said: “We plan on utilizing the proceeds from this sale to continue to support [E.J. Krause’s] global growth strategy.”

The Border Security Expo conference and exhibition focuses on issues of terrorism, drug smuggling, human trafficking, and a technological infrastructure.

Border Security Expo serves the more than 22,000 members of the U.S. Border Patrol as well as local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Border Security Expo show organizers plan to expand the exhibit hall for 2013, scheduled to take place at the Phoenix Convention Center, 12-13 March 2013.
