Doyenz, Lifeboat Distribution in distribution agreement
Lifeboat Distribution, a software distributor for disaster recovery, will distribute Doyenz’s cloud-based recovery services to thousands of its reseller partners across North America
Doyenz Inc. announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Lifeboat Distribution, a software distributor for disaster recovery. Under the agreement, Lifeboat, a subsidiary of Wayside Technology Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTG), will distribute Doyenz’s cloud-based recovery services to thousands of its reseller partners across North America.
Lifeboat will provide its resellers with recovery, disaster prevention, and business continuity services from Doyenz. These services were designed for the SMB market, enabling IT administrators to replicate physical or virtual servers in the cloud. Doyenz says it is the only recovery cloud provider that provides IT professionals with on-demand verification that their IT services are replicated in the cloud and ready for immediate deployment in the event of downtime. “The deep level of automation in the Doyenz solution ensures IT professionals can restore the physical or virtual environment in under five minutes so there is little operational disruption to the business,” the company says.

Doyenz’s cloud-based recovery solutions are available immediately to Lifeboat’s reseller network in the United States and Canada. Doyenz is also exhibiting their solutions to reseller attendees at Lifeboat’s 2011 annual reseller partner meeting being held tomorrow, Thursday, 13 October 2011, at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
